Drop by our annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale this Friday, May 6 in front of the Create Cafe, starting at 9:30a.  This is a great chance to pick up an herb or flower for mom or your own garden while also supporting youth in the Dominican Republic.  All our proceeds will benefit the diocesan mission trip the Dominican, which includes costs of travel, but also costs of running the Vacation Bible School, and holding an eye-glass clinic.

We have made a change: Conversations at the Create Cafe are going to move to Tuesdays.  We will meet at the Cafe at 9:30a on Tuesdays, staring May 3.  We hope you’ll be able to join us.  This week we continue our study of women in scripture looking at ‘The Brazen: Rahab and Sarah.’  If you are interested in the study, links to our discussions can be found under the formation tab on this webpage.

Soup Sale time!  We are selling four kinds of soup for $7.50/quart to benefit the Dominican Republic.  Soup will be ready for pick-up May 20 from the parish hall (62 Pickering Street).  Soups available are: broccoli cheddar, Italian wedding, beef barley, and chicken noodle.  Send an email to to order!

May 14 is Tap into Faith, 7p, at Dirty Ehrma’s (6 Pickering Street).  This month, we will be discussing salvation.  ‘Salvation’ is such a loaded churchy word with overtones of heaven and hell, but are there other compelling and scriptural ways to understand it?  Join us for a pint, a soda, or dinner as we question and explore.
